Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 June 2026 · Last updated: 8 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Hypra (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use ScoreNow (the “Service”), an unofficial companion app for the 2026 FIFA World Cup available on Android and on the web at scorenow.ai. By creating an account or using the Service you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy. ScoreNow is operated independently of FIFA and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA or any participating association.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect the email address used to authenticate, the username you choose, the national team you elect to represent, and the authentication timestamps maintained by our identity provider.
Activity data. We record predictions you submit, fantasy squads and transfers, league memberships, trivia answers, chat messages, share-card generations, and the in-app events necessary to compute leaderboards and fan rank.
Device and delivery data. If you enable notifications we store the push token issued by your device or browser so we can deliver kickoff, goal, and full-time alerts. We retain technical telemetry (operating system family, app version, anonymous error reports) to diagnose and resolve faults.
Information we do not collect. We do not request phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, biometric data, or payment card details. When paid upgrades are introduced, payment processing is handled exclusively by our merchant of record and we never receive card numbers.
2. How we use information
We process your information solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service: to authenticate you, render fixtures and live scores, compute and display leaderboards and fantasy points, generate share cards, deliver chat, send the notifications you have requested, prevent abuse, and respond to support enquiries. Aggregated and de-identified statistics (for example, the total number of predictions submitted by users representing a given nation) may appear publicly inside the Service.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers in the launch build. If we introduce advertising in the future we will update this Policy and provide a consent prompt where required by applicable law.
3. Who can see your information
Other users of the Service can see your public username, the national team you represent, your fan rank, your prediction history once a match has kicked off, your fantasy squad composition after the relevant deadline, your league standings, and any messages you post in chat rooms or leagues. We do not expose your email address or any other private identifier to other users.
4. Sub-processors and data sharing
We rely on a limited set of vetted sub-processors to operate the Service. Each acts on our instructions and is bound by appropriate contractual safeguards:
• Supabase, Inc. — authentication, database, storage, edge compute.
• Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery for sign-in codes and service notices.
• Expo (650 Industries, Inc.) — over-the-air updates and the Expo Push Service for native notifications.
• API-Football (API-Sports) — live football data ingestion; no personal information is sent to this provider.
• Vercel, Inc. — web hosting and edge delivery for the PWA.
• Google LLC — Google Play distribution, Google sign-in (if you choose it).
• Polar Software Inc. — merchant-of-record for future paid upgrades, when introduced.
We do not disclose personal information to any other party except as required to comply with applicable law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or in connection with a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, financing) in which the acquirer assumes the obligations of this Policy.
5. International transfers
Our sub-processors operate across the United States, the European Union, and other jurisdictions. Where required, transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the relevant supervisory authority.
6. Data retention
We retain account and activity data for the duration of your account so that leaderboards, fantasy history, and chat remain coherent. Anonymous error and performance logs are retained for up to 90 days. When you delete your account, all personally identifying data is purged within thirty (30) days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights
Subject to your local law, you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent for processing based on consent. You may exercise these rights at any time by deleting your account from Profile → Danger zone or by contacting support@scorenow.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area where local law sets that higher age). We do not knowingly collect information from children below the applicable age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact support@scorenow.ai and we will delete the relevant account.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, row-level security on our database, hashed credentials, and least-privilege access controls for our team. No system is impenetrable; if we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app, by email to your registered address, or by updating the Effective date above and surfacing a notice on first launch following the change.
